St. Augustine is the nation’s oldest city, rich with cobblestone streets, local cafes and intimate cocktail bars. St. Augustine’s history and natural resources make for a trip filled with adventure. The Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is a city treasure and serves as a reminder of the strength embodied by the early Spanish empire in the New World.

On Night 2 of this DreamTrip to St. Augustine, Platinum Members will explore the city’s spooky past on a ghost walk tour* led by a “zombie sheriff” and his deputies. Walk the dark streets and hear stories (based on historic facts) of haunted houses, bed-and-breakfasts and old cemeteries. Life is good when you’re a Platinum Member!

*To be eligible for the Sheriff’s Ghost Walk Tour, participants must be age 5 or older and be able to walk around the city in inclement weather.

Note: The “best burgers in town” are right across from the starting point of the tour if you would like to enjoy dinner there before we start.

Day 2

Boating & Kayaking Adventure (1.5 hours), where you’ll explore the rivers and creeks surrounding St. Augustine. The tour combines dolphin- and bird-watching with marine ecology, historic sights and an amazing boat ride. All guides are interpretive naturalists and U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains who will explain the elements of the estuary.

We base children’s pricing on their age at the time of travel. Their reservation has to be booked and paid for in order for you to check them in.

Please remember to book a reservation for everyone you’re bringing along on your DreamTrip before you travel. Otherwise, they’ll be charged the hotel’s prevailing rate, not the trip price.

Valet parking at the hotel is extra at a rate of US$25 plus tax for overnight parking and US$17 plus tax for day parking.

Boating & Kayaking Adventure:
• Participants will be split between the 6-man boats and kayaks (22 people can fit on the kayaks and 28 can fit on the boats).
• Participants must be age 12 or older to go in the kayaks. Those under the age of 12 can ride on the boats.
• No transportation is included. The excursion is within walking distance from the hotel.
• All guides are interpretive naturalists and USCG licensed captains who will explain the elements of the estuary.

Airfare is not included in the trip price! The closest commercial airport to the hotel is Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any trip.

Make sure to arrange your own transfers between the airport and your hotel, as they’re not included in the trip price.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 91 days or more before your trip, you’ll get a refund less a fee of US$50. If you cancel between 46 and 90 days before your trip, you’ll get a refund less a fee of US$100. If you cancel within 45 days of your trip, your trip will not be refunded. All fees are on a per-person basis.

Name Change Policy: If you change any name(s) on your booking 45 days or more before the start date of your trip, there will be no fee for the name change(s). If you change any name(s) on your booking 44 to 31 days before the start date of your trip, you’ll be charged a fee of US$50 per name change. Name changes are not permitted within 30 days of the start date of your trip.

Members can’t combine DreamTrips™ Points. Your membership level determines the maximum amount of DreamTrips Points you can use. If you have more than 50 Rovia Bucks, you can apply them in the checkout process.

Hotel/resort credits and/or discounts cannot be converted to cash, and any not used during your stay will expire immediately upon your departure. Member is responsible for paying any taxes that may be added to items purchased with hotel/resort credit.

In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.

As always, make sure that your passport/visa is up-to-date before you leave! It’s very important to double check that you have all the necessary identification required for the specific country you’re traveling to. Keep in mind that many countries require passports and/or visas to be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the end date of the trip.

Please note: Due to contractual supplier policies, we may not be able to confirm requested name or room changes to existing bookings for trips that are scheduled to travel within 30 days of your request.

Members with additional people in the room, not booked prior to travel, will be charged the hotel’s prevailing rate, not the trip price.
